Meredith Wires, Naturalist
Always looking for a new challenge, Meredith has an eye for adventure and a desire to explore the road less traveled. Hiking, biking and paddling throughout some of North America’s greatest gems, she has found herself trekking through sand dunes in the Mojave desert, mountain biking in Kelowna, British Columbia and running the rapids in Ontario.
A graduate of McMaster University’s Honours Communication Studies Program, Meredith brings energy to any project. She has developed unique promotional materials for a variety of companies and written various articles on marketing and branding. Along her journey, Meredith also completed a post graduate diploma in Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism Management from Fleming College in Haliburton.
Meredith’s dynamic communication skills, love for the environment and her passion for adventure, have aided her well as the current Activities Coordinator, Interpreter and Naturalist at Canada’s first JW Marriott Resort and as a dedicated team member of Nature Trails.
